The Fraunhofer Institute for Material and Beam Technology offers application-oriented research and development in the area of joining, cutting and ablation as well as surface technology. We offer a wide range of joining processes, including magnetic pulse welding, laser beam welding, friction stir welding and adhesive bonding. In combination with our extensive material testing facilities this enables us to find optimal joining solutions for our customers.
